The Simpsons Seventh Season
There are plenty of followings The Simpsons have created; South Park, Family Guy
and a bunch others. As the longest running animated sitcom, this collaboration of humor and timing with
a zany cast has a lot to show for, including the seventh season.
Apparently the sixth season Mr. Burns was shot, because the first episode you will come across is the
investigation of the shooter, as a montage of numerous scenarios are presented on who could have shot him.
There are also a dozen more episodes where Bart sells his soul; Sideshow Bob continues his relentless pursuit
on killing Bart, and Homer in 3-D for the first time. Not only will you see Homer in a third dimension, you will
also see him go into the outside world of non-animation.
There is plenty of stuff here for Simpson fans to be proud of, or if your just looking for hours of
comedy to watch here's a nice package. I have to admit that I am a bit spoiled, because after seeing Family
Guy time and time again, The Simpsons are just a little too bland. I still respect them for
being the show to set the bar high, yet I was still lacked with enthusiasm.
This is more a collector's commodity than anything rather than pure entertainment. You can still catch all these
episodes on Fox and I'm sure I don't have to tell you this. I do however own the very first season when it was
released a few years ago because if anything is worth watching, it's the season that started it all and
determined if this show would make or break.
I did enjoy the extra features a great deal; I think they really took the time to give us everything we needed
besides the entire season. Now with that said, enjoy all there is here and I'm sure we have a lot more seasons in
store.
