Incident At Lochness "” DVD Contest
Boy is it hard to do something when you’ve got someone looking over your shoulder! Like just the other day, we were in the middle of hacking up that intern we might’ve sorta killed, when Cinema Source founder Dan Deevy walked in and just stared and stared reprovingly…. How annoying. But imagine how much more irritating it would be to have someone watching your every move as you tried to make a film about the illusive Loch Ness monster!
Alas, this is exactly what happened to director Warner Herzog, when Hollywood screenwriter/interested party Zak Penn decided to observe and film him in the process of filming his own flick…well, sort of. Or maybe not at all. As hard to describe as the Loch Ness monster itself (you know what I mean, fellow Nessie sighters!) Incident at Loch Ness is a fascinating, metaphysical documentary in the vein of films like Lost in La Mancha. Hard to describe, sure, but again like ol’ Nessie, intriguing to watch.
