Bee Season – DVD Contest

Bee Season "” DVD Contest

Bee Season was a book before it was a movie, but we know difficult it is in today's day and age to read. First, you have to know how. Then you have to actually do it. We're not even sure which is tougher. Now we're doing all the work for you by giving away DVD copies of Bee Season to the most creative of our 'readers.'

The film follows the story of 11-year-old Eliza Naumann, an unspectacular young girl who surprises her father (Richard Gere) with her previously unknown spelling abilities and sets off on a journey to win the national bee. The initially happy Naumann family unravels as Eliza's successes mount, kinda like what happened to Macaulay Culkin and his family as a result of Home Alone.

Just send an email with “Bee Season” as the subject to contest king, Zak Santucci, who has never misspelled a word, at ZakSantucci@TheCinemaSource.com.

In the email, be sure to include your full name, mailing address, and your answer to this question: Who would win in a spelling contest? George W. Bush or Dakota Fanning? Describe how the climax of the contest would unfold. If you make any spelling mistakes in your email, your entry will be immediately disqualified from the contest. Just kidding! Who do you think we are, the New Yorker?

If you win, and you cough up $4 for shipping and handling, you'll soon have your very own copy of Bee Season on DVD. Now you won't even have to read the book!
